For the past week, the residence of Mabopane has been experiencing load shedding about three times a day. Residents are prepared to use the elections tomorrow to vote for a party that will bring change.

Residents pointed out a few issues that the area has been experiencing such as road littering with electricity being at the top of their list of issues that must be addressed by the new leaders who they hope will be elected after the local government elections.

Among the residents, Mabopane Times spoke to, A local resident, Ms Reneilwe Rathlagana said it does not matter who will win, all they ask for as the community is that they bring change.

“I will vote for change because if I choose not to vote, I will continue to experience the same problems. We need to make changes, these people seem to not care about our problems because if they did, things would have already begun to change,” she said.
